Production Journal...EDITING!

Due to the feedback that we got from our class on Monday, we have decided to add some elements to it. Which is shown from the screen shots below. We decided to shorten the green screen scene where the members are holding the boards, as from our feedback some individuals said that it was too long. Also, we added some more shots of Joe, cutting with different segments of the video, particularly when the band members are walking towards the screen which shows they are dominating. In addition to this, we changed some parts of the video that were not in sync as there were times when the band members were singing out of sync with the music. Lastly, we made the whole video itself shorter as most of our media class said that it was too long.

Feedback from our Media Class for our second screening of our Music Video...

Today, we showed our music video to our Media class,  this is the second time we have shown it to them. The first time they viewed it we was only half way through our editing. However, now we have come to the final stage of our editing. We also, showed our class our digipaks and posters in addition to our video. Generally the feedback was very positive but according to the feedback we received there are still some minor things we need to adjust. Below is a prezi I made on the feedback we received from our class.

We have come to the final stages in editing and now all that is mainly left for us to do is add the text in at the beginning of the video around where Laura is holding the black rose (screen shot) shown below. Megan is currently working on this at the moment and according to my research it is a convention of a music videos. The text we are planning to use will be plain and in white writing so it is clear to see as the beginning of the video is quite dark.
